What is Fleet Navigator?
Fleet Navigator is your personal AI workspace, and it runs entirely on your own computer. You work with AI assistants that know your documents and your knowledge, with no cloud, no forced subscription and no data leaving your machine. Developed by Fleet Data & System Consulting UG.
Does Fleet Navigator have anything to do with fleet management or fleet-navigator.de?
No. Fleet Navigator is not vehicle fleet or fleet management software: there is no GPS tracking, no telematics and no vehicle administration. For us, “Fleet” stands for the crew metaphor of the AI assistants, and the “Navigator” pilots you through AI-supported workflows. We are not connected with the domain fleet-navigator.de either; our only official website is www.fleet-navigator.eu. We have also applied to register the trade mark “Fleet Navigator” with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA). You will find all the verifiable facts on our grounding page.
Does my data leave my computer?
No. The AI, your database and your knowledge base run entirely locally on your computer. Only if you switch on the optional web search yourself are specific search queries sent to the internet, and even then your documents stay with you.
What does Fleet Navigator cost?
The Light edition is free: no time-limited trial, no subscription. If you need more, there are the Maat and Enterprise editions. All prices are set out transparently on the Editions compared page.
How do I get the free Light version?
On the Try it for free page you enter your email address and choose which computer you use. Within a few minutes you will receive an email with your personal download link (please check your spam folder too). The link is valid for 8 hours and works exactly once, so it is best to open it directly on the computer on which you want to install Fleet Navigator.
My download link has expired or does not work. What now?
No problem: drop us a line via the contact form (subject: Technical support) with the email address you used for the request. We will take a quick look and send you a new download link.
What kind of computer do I need?
Fleet Navigator is available for Windows, Apple/Mac and Linux. Because the AI works locally on your computer, the rule is: the more memory (RAM), the smoother it runs. What your computer should offer is set out on the Hardware requirements page.
How do I install Fleet Navigator Light?
Like any other program: on Windows, double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions. On a Mac, open the file and drag Fleet Navigator into the “Applications” folder. On Linux, double-click the package to install it via your software manager. You will also find a quick guide on the download page.
Can I move from Light to a larger edition later?
Yes. When you switch, your data stays local on your computer, as always. Take a look at the editions compared or get in touch, we will be happy to advise you.
Is Fleet Navigator suitable for law firms and medical practices?
That is exactly what it was built for. Because everything runs locally on your computer and no data is transferred to cloud services, Fleet Navigator helps you to comply with professional secrecy and data protection: your client or patient data stays in-house.
